My first day of work at Singtel
Dressed up formally like those normal businessman I used to adore when I'm young.
As I was walking to the bus stop, I feel a sense of maturity.
Time passes so fast indeed. A mere glance and I'm turning 20 soon.
I will be out working soon and fighting for spaces in the bus for survival! Haha!
For the whole 1 hour journey of work, I was standing up because I'm still a newcomer.
I will improve and be smarter in this coming 3 months! Wahahha!
My working place isn't that bad because there are many high class buildings around.
I reached my working place rather early because of this theory my brother taught me,
"First Impression Counts."
And I happily wore my tie and went to work.
But when I reached there, everyone is without a tie. Haha!
I was guide into this conference room while waiting for my schoolmates.
This will be where I'm working for the upcoming 12 weeks.
This is where I got assigned to my desk. My own personal desk.
Rather big and comfortable. Notice that it is rather plain isn't it?
You will see what happen later :D
Btw, I'm working in a department with 1 lady boss, 5 ladies, 1 schoolmate and me myself.
All ladies =S
Before going lunch, I went to take a view of what I will see most of the time.
I want to work there one day! :D Big money!
After lunch, I went to shop for food and snacks.
I feel like I'm having some picnic somehow. Haha!
I even got my own Peel Fresh Orange Juice in the refridgerator :D
And from those drama shows that I used to watch when I'm young, the arrangement of an office is exactly the same as those in the shows.
These is my project file and my security pass to gain access to an Singtel rooms.
This is what I must wear everyday for work.
I'm fine with the shirt. But my black pants is kinda tight.
I don't really like those black shoes. Sports shoes are still the best :D
And for people that don't know how my hair looks like, it is super short like what is in the picture. :(
After work, I went off alone to shop and dine.
There is this shopping centre just oppposite Clarke Quay.
I think I prefer school life more than working life somehow.
At least I won't be doing things alone.
This is what I like most about working there.
I feel so relaxed and happy when I see this view.
The river and those colourful houses.
Let's guess another happy thing that makes my day?

I heard alot of people can't access to internet and msn :(
I might still have a chance tomorrow since I got a computer to myself.
The journey home is so long and tiring.

Some of you must be still "pigg-ing" on a sunday morning isn't it?
Well, I got to wake up early just to find out where the hell is George Street.
But i really want to thank one person for accompanying me in the early morning.
I will reveal him later.
So I found that place after so many walk arounds.
This is two pictures of it. Kinda disappointed on first sight.
It looks like a factory to me now. Boo!
Owells, I hope everything will be fine tomorrow.

This is a drink that just came out recently. "Whatever" it is name.
Weird isnt it? There is another one called "Anything".
So what's the difference actually?
Whatever is more of a non-carbonated drink whereas Anything is a carbonated drink.
And what makes it interesting is for those drink inside is RANDOM!
For carbonated, it may turn out to be &-Up, Coke, Pepsi and blah.
For non-carbonated, it maybe Green tea, Ice Lemon Tea and stuffs.
Talking about Random, this is my neighbour Cordelia.
Just got to know she stays here for many years just like me.
And of all things at 1145pm yesterday, she called me down for a jog.
So there she goes.
And for the last part of today entry,
I would like to thanks Zhiyang for sacrificing time for me.
Waking up early to suffer the long journey with me to FIND my attachment place.
I must say he is a really nice guy. Ley yee will agree with me on that.
I barely know him for 2 months but he is so nice to me.
HE barely knows Ley yee for less than a day and he can send her back to her stop when he knows it is not going on his direction home.
Now what makes me wonder is, what is true friend?
I tried asking a few friends but all I got from them is some replies like this,
"Wah, So early! For what!? Why bring me suffer with you!?"
"Nah, I'm busy."
"I don't have enough sleep on blah blah blah."
All kind of excuses which is full of loopholes.
But well, at least now I know how they are like.
I must admit that at times I am like this too.
No one is perfect.
If it is for someone you love, I bet you will cancel all appointments or even wake up as early as 5am just to accompany that someone down.
If it is for your own benefit as well, you will make that trip too.
So yes, sometimes we humans are selfish.

My NAPFA Result
 
All of you must be thinking that I'll be over the moon over it.
But deep down I'm really sorry to say that the emo side of me had my mind controlled.
What's the big deal of taking full points when you don't have someone special to share the joy with you?
And what's the real reason to keep myself motivated and ran non-stop for 2.4km?
You won't want to know.

I spent sunday afternoon till monday 1.40am to finish the 12 weeks project.
It's very tiring when you got a headache along.
I still got other misc to do :(
